Silkscreen (silk screen) – one of the most common ways of high-quality and rapid imaging of textiles.
Screen printing, also known as serigraphy or silk screen printing, has a long history that arose 1000 years ago in China. The popularity of this method of application received in the twentieth century, after Andy Warhol decided to use this method of application to create the famous prints of Marilyn Monroe. The method of silk screen printing is an ideal application when it is necessary to get a bright and juicy image.To print images in our company, we use modern high-tech equipment from M & R and Sportsman. This equipment allows you to perform high-quality application to the material of any images. It is important to note that the number of colors for printing should not be more than six.For each color an individual printing form is made. The frame with a stretched fine-mesh synthetic mesh is covered with a layer of photoemulsion, which is partially destroyed after exposure through the photoform. The resulting stencil is applied to the printed tissue and squeezed through the grid cells with a squeegee. After this, the product is sent to the forced drying, during which the paint is fixed on the product.
Advantages of silk screen printing:
– deep staining of any materials
– high intensity of stains
– possibility of issuing large numbers of copies
– possibility to print a picture with a large rapport
– low cost of templates
Disadvantages of silk screen printing:
– tangible to the touch the place of the seal
– impossibility of color transmission of halftones
– the need for a certain time for drying.
Due to the dense layer of paint, the image is juicy and almost embossed. In this case, a T-shirt, a flag or a baseball cap with such an application looks dignified and can serve for a long time without a single loss of consumer characteristics.
The colors used for silk screen printing are highly plastic, so they do not crack on knitwear, do not lose their color and are water resistant. Thus, the attractive appearance of the product remains for a long period of use.
Our equipment provides an opportunity to apply not only the usual colors, but also uses colors with the effect of gold and silver. Printing T-shirts, flags, baseball caps, drawing logos, making image and souvenir products – our silk screen printing capabilities in Kiev allow you to print on the fabric as quickly as possible.
Requirements for the layout of the logo / image to be printed using the silk screen method: vector files Corel Draw (up to X3v), Adobe Illustrator (up to CS2v), and also in EPS format. For full-color silk screen printing: Adobe Photoshop (up to 7v), Corel Draw (up to X3v), Adobe Illustrator (up to CS2v), as well as EPS, TIFF, JPG (high quality with a resolution of at least 300 dpi).
Thermal transfer – is the most operational technology, which allows you to perform application on virtually any fabric.
The method of thermal transfer is an excellent solution for applying designs to textiles, knitted products, as well as leather and its substitutes. Full-color thermal transfer printing is done by applying a special thermo film under a hot press. Under the influence of high temperatures, the glue melts and the image is imprinted into the fabric. It is important to understand that thermal transfer can be performed using two types of film: flock – velvet texture and flex – glossy with a transparent lacquer layer.Therefore, you need to immediately determine the image of what texture you would like to get in the long run.The technology of thermal transfer is practically unlimited. Our production has the largest capacities for the production of textiles, so the application can be made not only to finished products, but also to exclusive models created specifically for a particular order.
Advantages of thermal transfer:
– ideal for printing both small logos, and for creating 3D images
– the application is performed within 3-5 minutes
– excellent for application to canvas, burlap and mesh fabric, as well as on products with buttons, zippers and protruding elements
– the optimal solution for small runs.
Disadvantages of thermal transfer:
– not suitable for large runs
– the use of gradient fills and translucencies is unacceptable
– Possible deformation of the image under compulsory stretching.
We can apply full-color thermal transfer printing to a variety of products, for example:
• corporate, working clothes
• sportswear
• clothes for promo-actions
• T-shirts, polos, raglans
• baseball caps, bandanas, kerchiefs
• jackets, jackets, vests
• bags, backpacks, umbrellas
• tents, tents, tents
• flags, flags, pennants
• toys, all kinds of souvenirs
Requirements to the layout: Layouts are accepted in vector form and should be created in CorelDraw (up to X5) or Adobe Illustrator (up to CS5 version). The file format is EPS. The format of vector images is PDF. All images must be in natural size, the lines must be translated into objects, the contours must be closed. The minimum thickness of the object in the layout is 2 mm, and the fonts must be converted into curves.
Sublimation is the method of printing full-color images on a fabric with any number of colors and shades. Technologically, sublimation is the process of transition of matter from solid to gaseous state, bypassing the liquid. For this, the material is heated to a temperature above 1650 ° C.
The technology of indirect sublimation printing is divided into two main stages. The first stage is the printing of the image on the intermediate medium, namely, on the sublimation paper. The second stage is the transfer of the image to the material. For transfer, special high-tech equipment is used, with which the necessary temperature is reached. At a temperature of 180-2000С, polyester molecules are opened and the sublimation dye, which is at that time in the gaseous state, penetrates into the fibers of the tissue. When the fabric cools, the material molecules are closed, and the dye particles remain inside the fibers.A feature of sublimation is that the fabric remains elastic and when stretched, the patterns are not damaged. That’s why this method of application is ideal for applying to sportswear: jackets, swimsuits or bathing caps. Also, sublimation is indispensable when creating textile carriers of outdoor advertising. Banners, flags and banners look impressive and completely work out the means embedded in them, because sublimation images have high clarity, brightness and resistance to external factors, so they do not fade.
Advantages of sublimation:
– the ability to apply images with any number of colors
– exceptional durability of drawings that do not burn out in the sun and do not fade with frequent laundering
– possibility of transfer of a photographic image
– High speed printing.
Disadvantages of sublimation:
– suitable only for light, and ideally – white fabrics
– Printing is possible on fabrics with a content of synthetic fibers of not less than 65%.
Sublimation is ideal:
• for printing on corporate, sports and overalls;
• printing on flags, pennants, advertising banners, banners and banners;
• umbrellas, tents, tents, as well as curtains and blinds;
• bandanas, bathing suits and sportswear;
• to create reproductions of paintings.
Requirements to the layout: format – *. Tif without compression in the model CMYK and in * .cdr format. The scale is 1: 1 to the expected size of the fabric. The use of gradient fills and other complex effects is unacceptable. All contours and fills – in the color model CMYK or Pantone. The text is in the curves. Objects are grouped and centered relative to each other and the boundaries of the product.
Computer embroidery is a method of applying logos and other images to the fabric using automatically programmed equipment. Modern equipment allows you to simultaneously create up to 32 drawings with threads of different colors. The logo, printed using computer embroidery, looks expensive and solid.
We use the equipment of the Korean company SWF and German ZSK, as well as viscose and polyester threads Gunold, Madeira, Rheingold and Marathon. Image models are created in a modern programming system. Our equipment allows you to carry out computer embroidery of logos, 3D embroidery, appliqués, embroidery on flags, and also make chevrons and stripes.
Advantages of embroidery:
– handmade effect
– universality
– high stability of application to external stimuli.
Disadvantages of embroidery:
– impossibility of reproduction of too small details and lines less than 1 mm
– the height of the letters in the logo should not be less than 5 mm, otherwise such letters as “o” can turn into a solid point.
In the implementation of each project, experienced designers and technologists are involved. The price of embroidery is always made in individual form. First of all, we take into account the cost of developing a program that is written for each order, as well as the cost of the embroidery itself. It includes the number of copies, stitches, type of material and threads. All calculations are made for a specific original layout.
Embroidery is performed:
• on headdresses
• T-shirts and polo shirts
• raglans, jackets
• any home textile products
• accessories, etc.
Demand to the layout: Create a layout in Corel Draw (up to X3v), Adobe Illustrator (up to CS2v) or Adobe Photoshop (up to 7v). Formats: EPS, TIFF, JPG (resolution – at least 300 dpi).
